Infidel from Image Comics Presents A Haunted House Story for the 21st Century

Bestselling editor Pornsak Pichetshote (Swamp Thing) makes his comics writing debut alongside artist extraordinaire Aaron Campbell (The Shadow, James Bond: Felix Leiter), award-winning colorist and editor José Villarubia (Batman: Year 100, Spider-Man: Reign), and letterer / designer Jeff Powell (SCALES & SCOUNDRELS) with INFIDEL from Image Comics.

Follows an American Muslim woman and her multi-racial neighbors who move into a building haunted by entities that feed off xenophobia, Pornsak describes the tale as a story with a "a feeling of warmth and camaraderie—which makes it all the more disruptive and disturbing when the horror finally [hits]."

In an interview with ComicBook.com, the creators said the series is their "attempt to update the haunted house story as aggressively as possible... It tackles themes like xenophobia, Islamophobia, and racism—these seemingly omnipresent forces in our society while questioning if we understand them well enough to fight them."

INFIDEL will be avalable October 2, 2018.
